Today I scanned in some old photos & postcards I’ve acquired from various places, I’ll be posting them here, starting with these gloriously bad kittens
Lewis’s 5th Floor shot by Stephen King (no, not that one)
Lewis’s is a now defunct department store in Liverpool, it’s 5th floor shut long before it’s final closure but in it’s heyday was home to a hair salon and restaurant with amazing tile work. Photographer Stephen King took these shots there including some with original Lews’s staff.
Useless fact : This was where I had my first job and I used to go sneaking about the 5th floor, it was awesome.
